1.全國(guó)同胞們，

尊敬的給各位國(guó)家元首、政府首腦和聯(lián)合國(guó)等國(guó)際組織代表，

All my countrymen and women ,

Your Excellencies, heads of state and government and representatives of the United Nations and other international organizations, Distinguished guests,

All officers and soldiers participating in the parade,

2.今天，是一個(gè)值得世界人民永遠(yuǎn)紀(jì)念的日子。70年前的今天，中國(guó)人民經(jīng)過(guò)長(zhǎng)達(dá)14年艱苦卓絕的斗爭(zhēng)，取得了中國(guó)人民抗日戰(zhàn)爭(zhēng)的偉大勝利，宣告了世界反法西斯戰(zhàn)爭(zhēng)的完全勝利，和平的陽(yáng)光再次普照大地。

Today is a day that will forever be etched in the memory of people all over the world, Seventy years ago today, the Chinese people, having fought tenaciously for 14 years, won the great victory of their War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, making the full victory of the World Anti-Fascist War. On that day, the world was once again blessed by the sunshine of peace.

3在這里，我代表中共中央、全國(guó)人大、國(guó)務(wù)院、全國(guó)政協(xié)、中央軍委，向全國(guó)參加過(guò)抗日戰(zhàn)爭(zhēng)的老戰(zhàn)士、老同志、愛(ài)國(guó)人士和抗日將領(lǐng)，向?yàn)橹袊?guó)人民抗日戰(zhàn)爭(zhēng)勝利作出重大貢獻(xiàn)的海內(nèi)外中華兒女，致以崇高的敬意！向支援和幫助過(guò)中國(guó)人民抵抗侵略的外國(guó)政府和國(guó)際友人，表示衷心的感謝！向參加今天大會(huì)的各國(guó)來(lái)賓和軍人朋友們，表示熱烈的歡迎！

On this occasion, on behalf of the Central Committee of the communist Party of China ,the Standing Committee of the National People’ s Congress, the State Council, the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference , and the Central Military Commission ,I pay high tribute to all the veterans, comrades, patriots and officers in China who took part in the War of Resistance and all the Chinese at home and abroad who contributed significantly to the victory of the War. I extend heartfelt gratitude to foreign governments and friends who supported and assisted the Chinese people in resisting aggression. I also warmly welcome all the foreign guests and representatives of the armed forces of foreign countries present today.

5.中國(guó)人民抗日戰(zhàn)爭(zhēng)和世界反法西斯戰(zhàn)爭(zhēng)，是正義和邪惡、光明和黑暗、進(jìn)步和反動(dòng)的大決戰(zhàn)。在那場(chǎng)慘烈的戰(zhàn)爭(zhēng)中，中國(guó)人民抗日戰(zhàn)爭(zhēng)開(kāi)始時(shí)間最早、持續(xù)時(shí)間最長(zhǎng)。面對(duì)侵略者，中華兒女不屈不撓、浴血奮戰(zhàn)，徹底打敗了日本帝國(guó)主義侵略者，捍衛(wèi)了中華民族5000多年發(fā)展的文明成果，捍衛(wèi)了人類和平事業(yè)，鑄就了戰(zhàn)爭(zhēng)史上的奇觀、中華民族的壯舉。

The Chinese People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-fascist War were a decisive battle between justice and evil, between light and darkness, and between progress and reaction. In the devastating war, the Chinese People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression started the earliest and lasted the longest. In defiance of aggression, the unyielding Chinese people fought gallantly and finally won total victory against the Japanese militarist aggressors, thus preserving China’s 5000-year-old civilization and upholding the cause of peace of mankind. This remarkable feat made by the Chinese nation was rare in the history of war.

6.中國(guó)人民抗日戰(zhàn)爭(zhēng)勝利，是近代以來(lái)中國(guó)抗擊外敵入侵的第一次完全勝利。這一偉大勝利，徹底粉碎了日本軍國(guó)主義殖民奴役中國(guó)的圖謀，洗刷了近代以來(lái)中國(guó)抗擊外來(lái)侵略屢戰(zhàn)屢敗的民族恥辱。這一偉大的勝利，重新確立了中國(guó)在世界上的大國(guó)地位，是中國(guó)人民贏得了世界愛(ài)好和平人民的尊敬。這一偉大勝利，開(kāi)辟了中華民族偉大復(fù)興的光明前景，開(kāi)啟了古老中國(guó)鳳凰涅槃、浴火重生的新征程。

The victory of Chinese People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression is the first complete victory won by China in its resistance against foreign aggression in modern times, This great triumph crushed the plot of the Japanese militarists to colonize and enslave China and put an end to China’s national humiliation of suffering successive defeats at the hands of foreign aggressors in modern times. This great triumph re-established China as a major country in the world and won the Chinese people respect of all peace-loving people around the world. This great triumph opened up bright prospects for the great renewal of Chinese nation and set our ancient country on a journey after gaining rebirth.

7.在那場(chǎng)戰(zhàn)爭(zhēng)中，中國(guó)人民以巨大民族犧牲支撐起了世界反法西斯戰(zhàn)爭(zhēng)的東方主戰(zhàn)場(chǎng)，為世界反法西斯戰(zhàn)爭(zhēng)作出了重大貢獻(xiàn)。中國(guó)人民抗日戰(zhàn)爭(zhēng)也得到了國(guó)際社會(huì)廣泛支持，中國(guó)人民將永遠(yuǎn)銘記各國(guó)人民為中國(guó)抗日戰(zhàn)爭(zhēng)勝利作出的貢獻(xiàn)！

During the war, with huge national sacrifice, the Chinese people held ground in the main theater in the East of the World Anti-Fascist War, thus making major contribution to its victory. In their war against Japanese aggression, the Chinese people received extensive support from the international community. The Chinese people will always remember what the people of other countries did for the victory of their War of Resistance.

8.女士們、先生們，同志們、朋友們！

9.經(jīng)歷了戰(zhàn)爭(zhēng)的人們，更加懂得和平的寶貴。我們紀(jì)念中國(guó)人民抗日戰(zhàn)爭(zhēng)暨世界反法西斯戰(zhàn)爭(zhēng)勝利70周年，就是要銘記歷史、緬懷先烈、珍愛(ài)和平、開(kāi)創(chuàng)未來(lái)。

The experience of war makes people value peace all the more. The aim of our commemoration of the 70^th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-fascist War is to bear history in mind, honor all those who laid down their lives, cherish peace and open up the future.

10.那場(chǎng)戰(zhàn)爭(zhēng)的戰(zhàn)火遍及亞洲、歐洲、非洲、大洋洲，軍隊(duì)和民眾傷亡超過(guò)1億人，其中中國(guó)傷亡人數(shù)超過(guò)3500萬(wàn)，蘇聯(lián)死亡人數(shù)超過(guò)2700萬(wàn)。決不讓歷史悲劇重演，是我們對(duì)當(dāng)年為維護(hù)人類自由、正義、和平而犧牲的英靈、對(duì)慘遭毒殺的無(wú)辜亡靈的最好的紀(jì)念。

Ravaging through Asia, Europe, Africa and Oceania, that war inflicted over 100 million military and civilization casualties. China suffered over 35 million casualties and the Soviet Union lost more than 27 million lives. The best way to honor the heroes who gave their lives to uphold freedom, justice and peace and mourn the loss of innocent lives brutally taken during the war is to make sure that this historical tragedy will never repeat itself.

11.戰(zhàn)爭(zhēng)是一面鏡子，能夠讓人更好認(rèn)識(shí)和平的珍貴。今天，和平與發(fā)展已經(jīng)成為時(shí)代主題，但世界仍很不太平，戰(zhàn)爭(zhēng)的達(dá)摩克利斯之劍依然懸在人類頭上。我們要以史為鑒，堅(jiān)定維護(hù)和平的決心。

War is like a mirror. Looking at it helps us better appreciate the value of peace. Today, peace and development have become the prevailing trend, but the world is far from tranquil. War is the sword of Damocles that still hangs over mankind. We must learn the lessons of history and dedicate ourselves to peace.

12.為了和平，我們要牢固樹(shù)立人類命運(yùn)共同體意識(shí)。偏見(jiàn)和歧視、仇恨和戰(zhàn)爭(zhēng)，只會(huì)帶來(lái)災(zāi)難和痛苦。相互尊重、平等相處、和平發(fā)展、共同繁榮，才是人間正道。世界各國(guó)應(yīng)該共同維護(hù)以聯(lián)合國(guó)憲章宗旨和原則為核心的國(guó)際秩序和國(guó)際體系，積極構(gòu)建以合作共贏為核心的新型國(guó)際關(guān)系，共同推進(jìn)世界和平與發(fā)展的崇高事業(yè)。

In the interest of peace, we need to foster a keen sense of a global community of shared future. Prejudice, discrimination, hatred and war can only cause disaster and suffering, while mutual respect, equality, peaceful development and common prosperity represent the right path to take. All countries should jointly uphold the international order and system underpinned by the purposes and principles of the UN Charter, build a new type of international relations featuring win-win cooperation and advance the noble cause of global peace and development.

13.為了和平，中國(guó)將始終堅(jiān)持走和平發(fā)展道路。中華民族歷來(lái)愛(ài)好和平。無(wú)論發(fā)展到哪一步，中國(guó)都永遠(yuǎn)不稱霸、永遠(yuǎn)不搞擴(kuò)張，永遠(yuǎn)不會(huì)把自身曾經(jīng)經(jīng)歷過(guò)的悲慘遭遇強(qiáng)加給其他民族。中國(guó)人民將堅(jiān)持同世界各國(guó)人民友好相處，堅(jiān)決捍衛(wèi)中國(guó)人民抗日戰(zhàn)爭(zhēng)和世界反法西斯戰(zhàn)爭(zhēng)勝利成果，努力為人類作出新的更大的貢獻(xiàn)。

In the interest of peace, China will remain committed to peaceful development. We Chinese love peace. No matter how much stronger it may become, China will never seek hegemony or expansion. It will never inflict its past suffering on any other nation, The Chinese people are resolved to pursue friendly relations with all other countries, uphold the outcomes of the Chinese People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War, and make greater contribution to mankind.

14.中國(guó)人民解放軍是人民的子弟兵，全軍將士要牢記全心全意為人民服務(wù)的根本宗旨，忠實(shí)履行保衛(wèi)祖國(guó)安全和人民和平生活的神圣職責(zé)，忠實(shí)執(zhí)行維護(hù)世界和平的神圣使命。我宣布，中國(guó)將裁減軍隊(duì)員額30萬(wàn)。

The People’s Liberation Army of China is the People’s army. All its officers, men and women must bear in mind their responsibility of serving the people whole-heartedly, faithfully fulfill the sacred duty of protecting the nation’s security and people’s well-being, and carry out the noble mission of upholding world peace. Here, I announce that China will cut the number of its troops by 300,000.

15.女士們、先生們，同志們、朋友們！

Ladies and gentlemen, Comrades and friends,

16.“靡不有初，鮮克有終。”實(shí)現(xiàn)中華民族偉大復(fù)興，需要一代又一代人為之努力。中華民族創(chuàng)造了具有5000多年歷史的燦爛的文明，也一定能夠創(chuàng)造出更加燦爛的明天。

As an ancient Chinese saying goes,“After making a good start, we should ensure that the cause achieves fruition.”The great renewal of the Chinese nation requires the dedicated efforts of one generation after another. Having created a splendid civilization of over 5000 years, the Chinese nation will certainly usher in an even brighter future.

17.前進(jìn)道路上，全國(guó)各族人民要在中國(guó)共產(chǎn)黨領(lǐng)導(dǎo)下，堅(jiān)持以馬克思列寧主義、毛澤東思想、鄧小平理論、“三個(gè)代表”重要思想、科學(xué)發(fā)展觀為指導(dǎo)，沿著中國(guó)特色社會(huì)主義道路，按照“四個(gè)全面”戰(zhàn)略布局，弘揚(yáng)偉大的愛(ài)國(guó)主義精神，弘揚(yáng)偉大的抗戰(zhàn)精神，萬(wàn)眾一心，風(fēng)雨無(wú)阻，向著我們既定目標(biāo)繼續(xù)奮勇前進(jìn)！

Going forward, under the leadership of the Communist Party of China, we, people of all ethnicities across the country, should take Marxism-Leninism, Mao Zedong Thought, Den Xiaoping Theory, the important thought of Three Represents and the Scientific Outlook on Development as our guide to action. We should follow the path of socialism with Chinese characteristics, pursue the four-pronged comprehensive strategy, promote patriotism and the great spirit of resisting aggression and forge ahead as one to reach our goals.

18.讓我們共同銘記歷史所啟示的偉大真理：正義必勝！和平必勝！人民必勝！

Let us bear in mind the great truth of history: Justice will prevail! Peace will prevail! The people will prevail!
